Join MusiCares for a special presentation addressing the importance of vocal health coupled with considerations for proper body mechanics. Appropriate for actors, singers and anyone whose job relies on healthy voices and healthy bodies! Discussion will include:

• Vocal hygiene /vocal injuries
• Muscle fatigue in the vocal mechanism
• Warming up and cooling down
• Audition considerations and increasing vocal conditioning to meet the demands of the job
• Postural control during performance and rehearsal
• General conditioning and fitness
